Have you come across Animatron? It’s a really useful tool that helps you to create animated explainer and marketing videos. It’s ideal for freelancers and small businesses who don’t have the budget for outsourcing their video marketing.
I use Animatron to produce mini brand awareness videos to share on social media. Each video is approx 20 seconds in length and includes animation, text, background music and voiceover. Take a look at an example here:

Of course you could aways record your own voice, but why not use a professional voiceover artist to provide a professional recording? But if you’re able to mix in the voiceover yourself, here’s a quick run-down of how to add voiceover to the video.
Adding Voiceover Narration to your Animatron Video?
- Click on the ‘import’ button at the top-right corner of the Editor to import the audio file.Animatron accepts Wav,Mp3 and AIFF files.
- Drag the audio layer (waveform) along the Timeline to accurately position where you want the VO to start and end.
- The Scene Duration Flag will stop the audio clip from playing when the Playhead has reached the red line on the Timeline. If you would like to play the voiceover over all or multiple scenes then:
- Click on the audio/voiceover layer on the Timeline
- On the top left check the ‘Play Across Scenes’ checkbox from the inspector (underneath the volume)
- Quickly play through your entire animation to check the voiceover is playing throughout by clicking CMD + Enter (Mac) or CTRL + Enter (PC)
