In general, most projects require either a WAV or Mp3 audio format. On occasion, Aiff format is requested. I can provide your voiceover recording in any of the
se popular formats.
What can appear to be the most simplest of voiceover recordings can require the trickiest of audio formats. I speak of course, of Phone System Recordings. The audio format required will be dependant on the type of phone system you need to upload the file onto. Disclaimer: I am not a telephone engineer and therefore am unable to advise as to the suitability of a particular audio format for your own phone system.
Before booking me to record your new set of phone prompts, IVR, voicemail or on hold messages, please do check to see what audio formats are compatible with your phone system. Often a bit rate and sample rate are specified as a requirement for upload. Its worth checking in the phone system handbook or putting a call through to their customer support line just to double check. You may find that your system is not able to accept uploaded files but requires the voiceover to be recorded directly onto the system itself. Either way, please do let me know before the recording takes place so I can confirm that I am able to deliver your recording in the manner required.
