Although I don’t really like choosing the music myself. As musical taste is such a personal thing, I much prefer if my clients are able to source a piece of music themselves. As a client you usually know what sort of music you want to hear with the voiceover. You may have something in your head that you want it to sound like.
Where to find suitable music?
There are several music libraries available on the internet. If you google “royalty free music” you will return many hundreds of results. Some tracks will be free but many may have a small fee to purchase.

They also have sound effects as well if needed.
Some tracks may need attribution of the artist. Check the copyright policies to be sure.
Can You Add Music To The Voiceover
Once you’ve sourced a track you like, then send it over and I can mix it with the voiceover. Mp3 or WAV format is fine.
It’s generally a good idea to send any background music before I start recording. It’s very useful to hear the track to get a more fuller sense of the energy, motivation and feel you are looking to achieve for your project.
